A local partner behaves differently than a national help desk

A national vendor routes you to whoever is next in the queue. A rotating cast of freelance contractors learns your environment on your time, then leaves with the knowledge. Neither model is built to know your business, and neither is accountable when the same problem happens for the third time.

We are based here, we make our own decisions here, and the person you talk to already knows how your company runs. That is the difference between a vendor relationship and a strategic partnership.

Common questions

The things business owners ask us before they switch providers.

What size businesses do you work with?

Most of our clients run between 25 and 250 employees, and that is where we do our best work. At that size you are large enough that technology failures cost real money and small enough that a full-time IT department is hard to justify. If you are outside that range, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

How does pricing work, and is it really flat-fee?

You pay one predictable monthly fee based on your environment, and it covers the managed work in your agreement. When something takes us longer than expected, that is our problem to solve rather than an adjustment on your invoice. Projects outside the agreement are quoted separately and approved before any work starts.

What happens to our current IT setup during onboarding?

Nothing gets ripped out on day one. We document what you have, identify what is working, and fix what is creating risk, in that order. Anything that needs replacing goes into your technology roadmap with a date and a cost attached, so you decide the pace.

Do we need to sign a long-term contract?

No multi-year lock-in. We use terms that let you leave if we stop earning the relationship, because a contract is not a substitute for doing the work well. If we ever part ways, we hand over documentation and credentials cleanly.

What is the difference between your support tiers?

Every tier includes 24x7x365 monitoring, patching, workstation support and security fundamentals. Higher tiers add depth on the strategy and security side: a more frequent Technology Business Review cadence, broader security controls, and a larger share of project work included. We will recommend the tier that fits your risk and growth plans, not the largest one.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

Response times are written into your agreement rather than described vaguely. Urgent, business-stopping issues get a response within 15 minutes during business hours, and monitoring covers you around the clock. You reach a local team that already knows your environment.

How do you decide which AI tools are actually worth adopting for our business?

We start with a defined business problem and a number attached to it, such as hours spent re-keying data or the lag on monthly reporting. Only then do we evaluate tools, and we do it vendor-neutral. Sometimes the right answer is software you already license, and sometimes it is a process change with no new tool at all.

Will AI and automation replace people on our team, or change their jobs?

In the work we do, it changes the job. Automation takes the repetitive parts off people's plates, such as manual data entry and copying between systems, and gives those hours back for customer work, quality and growth. We scope every initiative around the hours removed, then agree with you on where that time goes.

How do you make sure AI tools we use stay secure and don't create new risk?

Before rollout we define what data the tool can access, who reviews its output, and where that output is stored. That governance is documented and reviewed on the same cadence as the rest of your roadmap, so tools do not drift into unmanaged use months after adoption.
